OCULAR-FACIAL PLASTIC SURGERY
Blepharoplasty is generally done on site under local anesthesia. A fine incision is made in the crease of each eyelid. Typically, a thin crescent of excess skin & muscle, along with excess fat, is removed. The incisions are closed with fine sutures. A similar procedure can be performed to remove excess fat of the lower eyelids. The result is a more youthful appearance.
Blepharoplasty (removal of excess skin over the eyelid)
Includes all non-insurance covered services of ancillary photos and post-op care.
Browpexy (repair of droopy eyebrows)
Includes all non-insurance covered services of ancillary photos and post-op care.
This can be accomplished by a variety of surgical approaches with each patient's unique aesthetic needs being considered and a range of costs and payment plans available to suit the individual's needs. The typical approaches may involve:
Direct brow lift (incision is just above the brow and contoured to minimize the resulting scar while sculpting the desired brow appearance.)
Mid-forehead (incision is made horizontally across the mid-forehead, with an effort to blend the scar into one of the pre-existing forehead wrinkles. This has the effect of a broader upper-face lift at the expense of a slightly more noticeable scar.)
Bi-coronal (incision is made just in front, or just behind the hair line. This has the effect of a partial (upper) face lift and is done at the hospital under monitored intravenous anesthesia):
Ptosis repair (repair of a droopy eyelid)
